The first snow of the year came as advertised, with many communities hitting their snowfall projections. Plenty of towns around Eastern Massachusetts saw over 10 inches of snow, with many easily going over a foot.
Weymouth received 13 inches, according to the National Weather Service's unofficial snowfall totals. The highest recording in Norfolk County was a 19-inch measurement in Dedham.
The NWS gets unofficial measurements from ham radio reports, trained spotters, and more. The first number below is the measurement in inches, and the second number is what time the measurement was recorded. The last NWS report was issued at 7:52 p.m. Thursday, so we'll update this if a more current one is released.
