Longtime WCVB Reporter Clark Booth Dies

The award-winning journalist was 79.

WEYMOUTH, MA – Longtime WCVB reporter Clark Booth has died, according to the network. He was 79 years old.

The former Weymouth resident got his start in newspapers before joining WCVB in 1975, netting numerous awards over his 25 years with the network. Booth also worked at WBZ.

A renaissance newsman, Booth enjoyed an eclectic career, covering everything from the fall of the Iron Curtain and the "Troubles" in Northern Ireland to the World Series and the Stanley Cup.

Booth retired in 2000. He passed away at his home in New Smyrma, FL.
