Mad Hatter Cafe Sets Opening Date In New Location
The breakfast and lunch spot moved into the longtime Hajjar's space on Washington Avenue.

WEYMOUTH, MA – The Mad Hatter Cafe has set an opening date for its new location. The breakfast and lunch spot expects to resume business Monday, Oct. 22, Boston Restaurant Talk reported, citing a post on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page.
Last December the board of licensing commissioners approved a request for a liquor license and common victualler license transfer for the restaurant, paving the way for it to move into the longtime Hajjar's spot at 969 Washington St.
The Mad Hatter Cafe features Irish-influenced dishes like an Irish breakfast, beef stew, shepherd's pie and more. It was formerly located at 119 Main St.
