Major Movie Studio Coming to SouthField
A major movie studio is setting up shop in Weymouth according to Mayor Susan Kay.
It may be only a matter of time before the screams of “lights, camera, action!” are heard from a movie studio at SouthField in Weymouth.
Weymouth Mayor Sue Kay told WATD that SouthField developer LStar Communities has reached an agreement with a major movie studio to move into the currently unoccupied hanger 2.
Kay said the deal could be a game-changer for the struggling development.
