No, Adele Isn't Playing a Show at the Quincy Center T Station

If you think the pop star is going to play Quincy tomorrow, you're going to be disappointed.

QUINCY, MA — Rumor has it one of the biggest starts in music is coming to Quincy, but those who believe it will only be left with the sound of trains going in and out of the station.

Following the creation of a hoax-Facebook event for an Adele concert at the Quincy Center T station, the MBTA is advising people that no, the pop signer isn't going to be in the City of Presidents, nor will Train open for her.

As of Tuesday morning, the Facebook event "Adele (One Night Only) w/ guest Train at Quincy Center Train Station (Free)" has 631 interested people and 302 more attending. While some commenters seem to be taking the group at face value, most are in on the joke.

If you are rolling in the deep with love for Adele and want to see her live, it's not going to be cheap. Tickets on StubHub for her shows Wednesday and Thursday at the TD Garden start at $200 for the "cheap seats" and could cost you over $1,000 to get on the floor.
