Weymouth Compressor Station (Transmittal No. X266786)
To whom it may concern:
"Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC (Algonquin) was issued Air Quality Plan Approval - Transmittal No.X266786 (the Plan Approval) by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP)on August 26, 2019. The Plan Approval authorizes the construction and operation of the Weymouth
Compressor Station, 54 Bridge Street, North Weymouth, Massachusetts.
In accordance with Section 4.A., Table 12, Condition 7 of the Plan Approval for the Weymouth Compressor Station, Algonquin is required to notify the Town of Weymouth prior to any potential offsite sound impacts at the facility. Algonquin is planning to operate the emergency generator to fulfill routine readiness testing and standard maintenance requirements. The unit will be operated intermittently on February 22nd, March4th and March 5th, 2021. The work is scheduled to be completed during the daytime. Algonquin will notify the Town of any changes to the above schedule."
