'Patriots Day' Sets Staying at Union Point
Some scenes in the movie were filmed at the development's movie studio.
WEYMOUTH, MA — Sets used to re-create Boylston Street and a street in Watertown will remain at Union Point in Weymouth.
LStar managing partner Kyle Corkum told the Boston Globe that they have purchased the sets from the movie's production company and hope they can be used as back lots for future filming.
Some filming for the movie was done at the former South Weymouth naval air base's movie studio. Corkum said the sets will remain until they can not longer be used.
