South Weymouth Papa Gino's Celebrates Employee's 20th Anniversary

SOUTH WEYMOUTH, MA — Papa Gino's in South Weymouth is honoring an employee who celebrated his 20th anniversary with the company this year, said the restaurant in a news release.

Sean Murphy has worked his entire career at the South Weymouth Papa Gino's as a delivery driver. He has become a member of the local community and knows many regular customers on a personal level.

“Being a part of the Papa Gino’s team for 20 years, Sean has become a staple of our operation and we thank him for his years of cheerful service to our guests,” said Ron Walker, Area Manager at Papa Gino’s, in a statement. “He means a lot to this community and to our company, and we were all thrilled to celebrate this amazing accomplishment with him.”

Murphy's anniversary coincides with the company's 60th birthday in New England. The first location opened in East Boston in 1961 and there are now nearly 100 Papa Gino's in the region. The company is spending its birthday celebrating team members and guests.

“My favorite memories over the past 20 years are comprised of all of the relationships and memories I have made with the different teammates I have worked with,” said Murphy in a statement. “Our guests have had a great impact on my time with Papa Gino’s as well, and of course the food."
