WATCH: North Weymouth Hit By Significant Flooding
One person said the flooding was worse than January's storm and the town is asking people to stay away from the area.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Flooding prior to the afternoon high tide has started in parts of Weymouth.
Photos and video from North Weymouth show neighborhood streets underwater. One person said the flooding was significantly worse than the January storm.
A video from Caldwell Street shows major flooding on a street on the water as waves crash over a wall and down the road.

Due to the level of flooding, the town is asking people to stay away from the North Weymouth area, especially the beaches.

More flooding is expected during high tide and throughout the day. About 2-3 inches of rain with some areas receiving 4 inches and wind gusts of up to 70 mph are sill expected in Weymouth and across the South Shore. Damage to trees, power lines, and property are possible with winds of this magnitude. Power outages are likely, according to the National Weather Service.
