Weymouth Shooting Victim ID'd; Police Ask For Witnesses' Help

Police are asking for information after one person was killed and two others shot early Sunday morning at The Mastlight apartments.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Police are asking for witnesses to help after one person was killed and two others shot early Sunday morning at The Mastlight apartments in South Weymouth, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

The person who died was later identified as Eric Small, 30, of Cambridge. Small was found by police in the parking lot.

Police were called to the apartment complex on Patriot Parkway around 3 a.m. Sunday. A massive law enforcement presence followed, with SWAT teams swarming the area.

Authorities said an altercation inside the apartments may have spilled outside.

No arrests have been made. Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
