Weymouth High Adding Three Spring Sports
Rugby and girls' golf are coming to Weymouth High School.
WEYMOUTH, MA – More sports are coming to Weymouth High School for the spring season.
Weymouth athletic director Kevin Mackin told the Weymouth News that they are adding rugby for boys and girls and girls' golf. The new offerings brings Weymouth's spring sports team total to 12.
Mackin said they recently had meetings for the new sports and there was a healthy interest in all of them. The girls' rugby meeting had 30 interested students while the boys meeting had 40. Golf had 12 interested students, which Mackin was pleased with.
