Weymouth To Host Community Clean-Up Day

The event will take place Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

WEYMOUTH, MA — The Town of Weymouth is hosting a Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help improve the appearance of the town's neighborhoods and public spaces.

The town is asking civic associations, businesses, church groups, youth sports groups, parent councils, schools, and town employees to participate in the event and organize future cleanups to help keep Weymouth's residential areas, parks, beaches, libraries, school grounds, and squares beautiful.

Those who wish to participate can register for the event by contacting Mayor Robert Hedlund's office at 781-682-3618 by Thursday, April 22 and filling out this form and returning it to the mayor's office at 75 Middle Street or by email by Friday, April 23.

The Department of Public Works will be providing gloves and trash bags that will be available for pickup on Saturday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at 120 Winter Street and a bagged lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
