WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth logistics service employee in the VA Boston Healthcare System is working to help protect VA physicians, nurses and veterans amid the coronavirus health emergency.

Michael Murphy has worked in VA Boston Healthcare System's Brockton warehouse since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis with a focus on handling personal protection equipment.

Murphy, who has worked for VA Boston Healthcare for two years, told the VA Boston Public Affairs that his driving force is "giving back to those who gave so much for us." He said that he has spent any down time between warehouse shifts during the coronavirus crisis "taking more time for reflection."
