Weymouth Music Teacher On Leave After Accusation
Administrators called it an "allegation of inappropriate conduct."

WEYMOUTH, MA – A Weymouth music teacher has been placed on leave over what administrators called an "allegation of inappropriate conduct," according to the Patriot Ledger. The allegation was made against Sacred Heart Elementary School teacher Matthew Browne, who also teaches at St. Paul School in Hingham. The allegation was made by a St. Paul student, and both schools have placed Browne on paid leave.
No charges have been filed, Hingham police told the Ledger. Sacred Heart Principal Gretchen Hawley and Rev. Sean Connor said no complaints have been filed from their school.
Browne taught part-time at both schools.
