Weymouth Native Has Eyes on NFL Draft

Khary Bailey-Smith recently took part in the NFL's Washington Regional Combine.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A former Weymouth Wildcat is hoping to hear his name called at next month's NFL Draft.

UMass graduate Khary Bailey-Smith now has his eyes set on the NFL. He recently took part in the league's Washington Regional Combine, where he turned heads with his impressive performance.

"Bailey-Smith is agile, strong and moves gracefully. The once high school wide receiver made the transition effortless. After Bailey-Smith’s trials at the RC, the league should have woke up to his talent and hearing his name called during the 2017 NFL Draft should be a given," Barry Barnes of Locker-Report wrote.
