Weymouth Pearl Street Main Relay Project Set To Begin Monday

ThePearl Street Main Relay Project will replace approximately 4,065 feet of existing gas main.

WEYMOUTH, MA — National Grid will begin construction on replacing 4,065 feet of existing gas main as part of the Pearl Street Main Relay Project beginning on Monday.

The main work will occur along the exiting gas main beginning at the intersection of Norton and Pearl Street, continuing along North, Neck and Green, to the intersection of Green and Bridge streets.

National Grid said the goal of this project is to further enhance the safe, reliable operation of its existing local gas delivery network, and that there will be no planned interruption of service to existing customers during this construction.
