Weymouth Police To Host '7 Ladders Of Addiction' Seminar
Weymouth Police Sgt. James St. Croix will host the seven-week semifinal as part of the School/Community Partnership Series.
WEYMOUTH, MA — Weymouth Police Sgt. James St. Croix will host a seven-week seminar "7 Ladders of Addiction" as part of the Weymouth Schools & Community Partnership. The seven-week discussion group will focus on different substances and activities that can lead to addiction each week.
The group will meet Mondays at the Weymouth Police Department on Winter Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Feb. 24 session will focus on smoking and vaping. The March 9 session will focus on underage drinking and marijuana use. The March 23 session will focus on inhalants, saliva and hallucinogens. The April 6 session will focus on performance-enhancing drugs and ecstasy. The April 13 session will focus on cocaine, crack and synthetic drugs. The May 4 session will focus on prescription drugs and methamphetamines. The May 18 session will focus on heroin, opiods and fentanyl.
