Weymouth Power Outage Update: Nearly Every Home Has Power Again

Update: As of late Tuesday night, 45 homes in Weymouth do not have power, according to the National Grid outage map.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A good portion of the town was without power during the latest storm makes its way across the area.

As of 10:45 a.m., about 8 percent of Weymouth, or 2,033 homes, did not have power. That number dropped to 506 at 11:30 a.m. before jumping to 2,030 homes.

Weymouth was one of the area South Shore towns heavily impacted by the storm. About 27 percent of Abington was in the dark, as was 56 percent of Cohasset and 70 percent of Norwell.

Quincy had about 4 percent of homes without electricity.
