National Braille Press is a non-profit braille publisher, based in Boston, that promotes literacy for blind children through outreach programs and provides access to information by producing news in braille for blind children and adults. The gala brought together business and community leaders who are dedicated to the organization’s mission. This year’s event was co-chaired by Tom Sullivan, Chairman and Founder of Lumber Liquidators and Tom Crohan, Assistant Vice President and Counsel at John Hancock. This year’s entertainer was comedian Tom Cotter who is widely known for his standup comedy and was a runner up on the NBC television program, America’s Got Talent.
