Weymouth Teen Center Set To Reopen Monday

The center will have split times for younger and older teens with coronavirus-related protocols.

WEYMOUTH, MA — The Weymouth Youth and Family Services Teen Center is scheduled to reopen on Monday after being closed for the past five months due to the coronavirus health crisis.

Due to ongoing public health regulations, the Teen Center will have limited capacity, an alternate entrance and extended hours.

The Teen Center will be open Mondays and Wednesdays for grades 6 through 8 from noon until 6 p.m. It will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays for grades 9 through 12 from noon until 6 p.m. On Fridays, the day will be split between the two grades.

Teens will have to enter the building around the back and face coverings are mandatory.

The Teen Center is located on the second floor at 1393 Pleasant Street and has provided teens the opportunity to gather with their friends in a safe, casual and supervised environment.
