Weymouth Woman Possibly Exposed to Hepatitis B By Boston Hospital
Boston Medical contacted Joan Cooper, 64, of Weymouth to tell her the dialysis machine she used for inpatient dialysis was not properly cleaned and that she might have been exposed to hepatitis B.

Joan Cooper of Weymouth has a rare kidney disease and started inpatient dialysis treatments at Boston Medical Center in mid-March, according to wcvb.com.
Two weeks ago Cooper said she received a call from the hospital telling her that the machine had not been cleaned properly before she used it and that she might be exposed to hepatitis B.
