Weymouth's Rob Corddry Wins Two Emmy Awards
The awards were for his work on the Adult Swim show Childrens Hospital.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Local comedian Rob Corddry is going to have to make space for two more awards on his trophy mantel.
Sunday night, the Weymouth native won two Creative Emmys for his work on the Adult Swim show Childrens Hospital. He won outstanding actor in a short form comedy or drama series and the show won outstanding short form comedy or drama series. As an executive producer, Corddry was one of the recipients for the outstanding short award.
Starting out as a web series in 2008 before debuting on Adult Swim in 2010, Childrens Hospital is a parody of medical dramas that centers around, as the name of the show implies, a children’s hospital named after Dr. Arthur Childrens.
