What's Open, Closed on Memorial Day 2017 In Weymouth

Town offices and banks are also closed by state law.

Monday, May 29, is Memorial Day, and the holiday means some businesses and other places in town will be closed.

Specifically, Town Hall will be closed in Weymouth, along with liquor stores, which are closed on Memorial Day due to Massachusetts state law. Additionally, the library will be closed.

  • Schools: Closed
  • Public Library: Closed
  • Banks: Closed
  • Mail: Post offices closed; express delivery only
  • Supermarkets: Open
  • Convenience stores: Open
  • Retail stores: Open at owner’s discretion
  • Restaurants, bars: Open at owner’s discretion
