What's Open, Closed In Weymouth On New Year's Day

WEYMOUTH, MA – Weymouth town offices will be closed all day Tuesday for New Year's Day.
The holiday will delay rubbish collection for one day for the rest of the week. For the remainder of the week, there will be a one-day delay (Tuesday on Wednesday, Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday and Friday on Saturday). The Town of Weymouth will be collecting two extra bags of rubbish on collection days during the week of Jan. 7.
Residents are asked to place only two extra bags separate from the rubbish and recycling carts as they will be collected manually. This collection is not intended for disposal of any construction/demolition materials; it is for household rubbish only.
