WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington was recently awarded a $2.891 million state grant for infrastructure improvements around the planned Jefferson Road and Middlesex Avenue housing project.

It is the town's first MassWorks grant, Town Manager Jeffrey Hull told the selectmen at their Nov. 23 meeting.
