Wilmington Home Sales Lag Behind State Trend
Massachusetts real estate market continues to trend upward, Wilmington flat.

While single-family home sales in Massachusetts rose more than 10 percent in January, the real estate market locally was somewhat flat.
Across the Bay State, 2,680 single-family homes were sold in January, the highest January level since 2007, according to The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
The news was not so robust in Wilmington, where 15 homs were sold in January, the exact same total from Janaury 2012.

Home prices continue to rise, as well. The median sale price of a single-family home in Massachusetts in January rose 6.8 percent to $277,750. That marks the fourth straight monthly increase
Locally, home prices jumped quite a bit. The median price for a home sold in Wilmington in January was $325,000. That's up 14.04 percent over January 2012.
