Congress is “really close” to obtaining proper death benefits for the family of a Winchester man killed in the 2012 Benghazi attacks.
U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch told the Boston Herald that Congress is nearing a solution, but work still needs to be done.
Glen Doherty a former military contractor, was one of four Americans soliders who were killed in the attacks on Benghazi. Doherty’s family has yet to receive death benefits because he didn’t have a spouse or child.
