How Much Snow Did Winchester Get Monday Morning?

It may be beginning to melt now, but there was enough snow at one point to delay the start of school in many communities across the state.

WINCHESTER, MA — Winchester residents can now breathe. The first significant school-adjusting snowfall has passed us. While Winchester students operated on a normal schedule, many across the state were held on two-hour delays.

Preliminary snow totals from the National Weather Service are beginning to come in, and snow totals countywide range from anywhere between less than a half inch to five inches of snow. Snow totals in Ashby were the highest countywide, receiving five inches.

According to Cocorahs, the Southeast part of Winchester received 0.7 inches of snow.
