Monday Essentials: Craft Beer Cellar to Host Mayflower Tasting Event

Here's a sample of what's happening in Winchester from July 29-Aug. 2:

1. Craft Beer Cellar New England Annex will be hosting a Mayflower Brewing Company tasting event from 5-7 p.m. Friday, according to Craft Beer Cellar's Facebook page.

2. The Winchester Planning Board meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall in the Winchester Room, according to the town website.

3. Kids ages 3-plus can watch "The Lizard of Oz" performance by Kidstock! from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Winchester Public Library website.

4. A summer rock and blues rehearsal band will be performing at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Winchester Community Music School, according to the school website.

5. Seniors can play some Texas Hold'em poker at 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Jenks Senior Center website.
