National Foster Care Month In Winchester

The movies listed below depict heroes and villains, systemic challenges and the stories of hope.

May 7, 2021

Each May, we take time to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers, child welfare professionals, and other members of the community who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections. There are over 8,000 children in foster care in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The movies listed below depict heroes and villains, systemic challenges and the stories of hope. Watching these dramatic stories will increase your awareness of the issues facing our community in supporting foster parents, birth parents and foster children.
