Obituary - Elizabeth A. O'Neil

Elizabeth A. (Appleton) O’Neil, age 69, of Lowell, formerly of Winchester, passed away on June 21, 2021. Born in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Louise (Callahan) Appleton. She was raised and educated in Winchester, and was employed by Sodexho/Marriott Food Service for many years.

Elizabeth is lovingly survived by her son, Daniel J. McCarthy and his wife Erica of Ipswich. She was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth Dottin-O’Neil.

She was also the dear sister of Mary Lou Ferraro of Wilmington and the late Walter J. Appleton, Jr., the devoted grandmohter of Eli, Silvia and Elizabeth Jaiman, Bryant Dottin, Devin Pearson and Vienna McCarthy, and the great-grandmother of Ethan Jaiman, Eliana Gloria, Colton and Braxton Perry.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for Visiting Hours at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Wednesday, June 30 from 4-7PM. Burial will be private. www.costellofuneralhome.com
