Seniors to Play Poker in Winchester

Here are five things to know for Wednesday, July 31 in Winchester:

1. Poker anyone? Seniors can play some Texas Hold'em poker at 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Jenks Senior Center website.

2. Weather update: It is expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures peaking in the low 80s during the day before temperatures dip to a low in the low 60s overnight.

3. In case you missed it: Check out the Winchester police log.

4. Meeting time: The Winchester Planning Board meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall in the Winchester Room, according to the town website.

5. Looking ahead: Kids ages 3-plus can watch "The Lizard of Oz" performance by Kidstock! from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Winchester Public Library website.
