Step2 Recalls Ride-On Wagon Sold at Toys R Us
Repair kit needed to keep children from falling out of wagon due to defect.

Step2 has announced it is recalling the Step2 Whisper Ride Touring Wagon, sold exclusively at Toys R Us.
The removable blue seat backs can detach and allow a child in the wagon to fall out, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. Wagons that include seat belts connected to the tan wagon base are not included in the recall

These wagons were sold from February 2013 to August 2013.
There have been 29 reports of the seat back detaching. in 28 of these cases, children fell out of the wagon - resulting in bumped heads, bruises, scratches and lacerations.

Consumers who have this wagon are asked to immediately stop using it and inspect it to determine if the seat belt is attached to the removable blue seat back. If so that wagon is part of this recall. Images of the wagon can be viewed on Step2’s website.
Consumers with recalled wagons can contact Step2 to obtain a free repair kit by visiting the company’s recall page.
