Utility Work Underway At Winchester Intersection

An utility crew was at work Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Washington and Mt. Vernon Streets in Winchester.

As of 3 p.m., a small utility crew was working on Washington Street, and a large utility vehicle was parked on the street.

Orange road work and police officer ahead signs could be seen on Washington Street adjacent to Winchester Public Library.

A Winchester police officer directed traffic around orange road work cones in place near the traffic light at the entrance to Washington Street near Mt. Vernon Street.

The site was cleared by 4 p.m.
