Vito Giacalone Passes Away
Former Winchester resident was a late veteran of the U.S. Navy who served in WW II.
Vito J. Giacalone of Peabody formerly of Winchester, passed away on July 14. He was 92.
Beloved husband of the late Pauline V. (Torcivia) Giacalone. Loving father of Dennis J. & his wife Valerie Giacalone of Byfield, Grace A. & her husband Michael James of Peabody. Adored Grandfather of 9 Great-grandfather of 7 great great grandfather of 2. Brother of Betty Ferrina of Winchester, Richard Giacalone of Salem NH, Dominic Giacalone of Hartford CT and the late Louis, Frank, Andrew, Joseph Giacalone, Sarah Cefalo & Joanne Milano. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & good friends.
A funeral will be held from the Lane Funeral Home 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) Winchester on Thursday at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Church Winchester at 10 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 thru 8 pm. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
