If you have to leave for Thanksgiving on Wednesday, try to hit the road early and avoid driving around 3 p.m. The best day to return is Friday after thanksgiving, and avoid traveling at 4 p.m.

The Lowell Line will operate on a normal weekday schedule Wednesday, on a Sunday schedule Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) and on a regular weekday schedule on Friday (Black Friday)
