Winchester Boys Soccer Advances to Semi-Final Round of State Tournament

The Sachems defeated Central Catholic in overtime on Monday afternoon.

The Winchester High School boys varsity soccer team advanced to the semi-final round of the MIAA state tournament with a win over Central Catholic Monday afternoon.

The Sachems, playing in the North Division 2 bracket, knocked off Central Catholic by a score of 2-1 in overtime.

Winchester will play the winner of Concord-Carlisle and North Andover in the semi-final round on Thursday, Nov. 12.
