Winchester Boys Win State Title; Girls Fall To Vineyard
Noah Criss leads boys' tennis team to second title in three years.

Led by a 6-0, 6-1 win by senior Noah Criss at first singles, the Winchester boys' tennis team beat Duxbury, 4-1, Tuesday in the Division 2 state tennis championship. It was the Sachems second win over Duxbury in the title match in three years. Winchester finished the season 19-2.
The news was not as good for the Winchester girls. Facing defending state champion Martha's Vineyard, the Sachems fell 4-1. It was the first loss of the year for Winchester, which finished 20-1.
Both matches were held at St. John's of Shrewsbury.
