What started the first Monday in December comes to an end Sunday night at TD Garden when Winchester faces Duxbury for the MIAA Division 1 state hockey title.

The game is the last of six on the Garden ice, with two girls games and four boys games. Pending any long overtime games earlier in the day, Winchester is scheduled to face off at 7:45 p.m.

Winchester is 17-7 and won the North title with wins over Bishop Fenwick, Billerica, and St. John's Prep. In the title game, the Sachems beat Prep, 4-1, with three goals in the third period and great goaltending from sophomore Rob DiVicenzo.
