Let's Play Two! Winchester Soccer Teams Play Friday Doubleheader

Anybody ready for a soccer doubleheader?

The Winchester boys' soccer team will host Tewksbury Friday at 4 p.m. at Knowlton Stadium in the quarterfinals of the MIAA Division 2 North tournament. But stay seated. The Winchester girls' soccer team follows them after earning the No. 2 seed in Division 2 North and will host Greater Lowell at 6 p.m. The MIAA released the pairings Wednesday.

The Winchester boys enter the tournament as the No. 7 seed at 10-5-3. Tewksbury is seeded No. 10 at 9-5-4. As for the Sachem girls, they'll host the No. 15 seed Gryphons, who finished 9-8. Should the Winchester boys advance, they'll play the winner of Masconomet vs. Greater Lowell. If the girls prevail, they get the winner of the Belmont vs. Salem game in the quarterfinals.

The Winchester girls lost in the 2017 North final to Danvers, 1-0.
