Hospital Ranks No. 13 in Region

is one of the best in Massachusetts. At least, U.S. News & World Report says so.

U.S. News released the Best Regional Hospital Rankings that includes 77 hospitals in the Massachusetts metropolitan area.

There are 20 hospitals that made the list with Winchester Hospital coming in at No. 13 tying with Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton Lower Falls.

This is the first year in which U.S. News released state-by-state hospital rankings.

Out of the 115 hospitals in Massachusetts, Winchester ranks at No. 16.

The hospital was also recognized for its three high-performing specialties: Geriatrics, Gynecology and Urology.
