It's Winchester vs. Medfield For State Lax Title Friday
After postponement, it's time to settle who's best in state in Division 2 boys' lacrosse.
If a state title is the reward, no one will complain about waiting an extra day.
Winchester (21-1) will face Medfield (20-2) in the Division 2 title game Friday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy. Game time is 1 p.m. Veterans Memorial Stadium is the home field of the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse.
The Sachems have just one loss this spring, to Division 1 finalist Lincoln-Sudbury. Medfield has lost to Duxbury and BC High, both Division 1 state powers.

Immediately following Winchester's game, the Division 1 title game between Lincoln-Sudbury and Hingham will be held.
The Division 3 game Friday between Grafton and Dover-Sherborn was moved to Babson.
