Sachems to face St. John's Prep in Division 1 North Final Monday.

One win from a trophy, one win from stepping onto the TD Garden ice.
Winchester will face St. John's Prep Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Tsongas Center in Lowell in the Division 1 North boys' hockey final. A win sends the Sachems into Boston for the state final next Sunday, March, 17, against the South champion.
After a 14-7 regular season that pushed Winchester into the Super 8 discussion, the Sachems have won two tournament games. First to fall was Bishop Fenwick in a shootout in the quarterfinals, followed by a 4-2 win over Billerica in the semifinals. In that win, junior Ryan McCarthy had three goals.
