Winchester Power Outages: 1,500 In Dark

WINCHESTER, MA — There were nearly 1,500 in Winchester without power around 1 a.m., according to Eversource. Multiple communities across Massachusetts are suffering power outages Sunday night in the midst of wild wind and rain. More than 80,000 were reported to be in the dark at 12:45 a.m.

More than 17 percent of Eversource customers in Winchester were without power, and outages may become more widespread as the weather worsens overnight. Make sure to charge your electronics, especially if you are relying on a phone alarm to wake you up in the morning! Be safe.
