Winchester Rehab Recognizes 17 Employees for Longtime Service
Staff Longevity Key to Quality Care at Community Where More Than 70 Employees Have Over Five Years of Service

Salter HealthCare (http://www.salterhealthcare.com), one of Massachusetts’s most trusted leaders in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, announces the recipients of Winchester Rehabilitation & Nursing Center’s annual employee recognition awards for tenure. Seventeen team members who have been with the Center for five, 10, 15 or 20 years were recognized at a special ceremony held recently at the community.
“Our staff members are very dedicated to Salter HealthCare and have great passion for our business,” said Jennifer Gizmunt, Chief Executive Officer of Salter HealthCare. “They really embody what Salter is all about, which is caring for our residents like they would their own family members. We feel so fortunate to have their dedication.”
In total, the Center boasts 71 employees with over five years of service, including 32 with over 15 years of service and three employees with more than 30 years. The complete list of award recipients includes the following.

Winchester Rehabilitation & Nursing Center provides a host of short and long-term care services for those recovering from surgery or managing acute illnesses or injury after hospitalization, including physical, occupational and speech therapy delivered seven days a week by licensed, in-house staff and daily recreational therapy. Throughout its history, the Center has received a host of accolades. In 2017 and 2018, they were the recipients of the Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Nursing Home, were named a Best Nursing Home by U.S. News & World Report and received a prestigious 5-Star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
