Customs agents in Philadelphia discovered the drugs packaged in what were supposed to be stainless steel cocktail sticks.
WORCESTER, MA — Customs agents seized an illicit 13-pound shipment of the drug ketamine bound for Worcester from Italy earlier in June, according to federal officials.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents in Philadelphia intercepted the shipment on June 10. The drugs were packaged in 36 stainless steel tubes that were supposed to be cocktail sticks.
CBP did not immediately announce any arrests in connection to the shipment, and did not say where in Worcester the package was shipped to.
