3 Walk-In Coronavirus Vaccine Clinics In Worcester This Week
The clinics are for Worcester residents who meet certain criteria under the state's equity program.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester will host three walk-in coronavirus vaccine clinics this week under the state's equity program, which prioritizes people from groups that have been hit the hardest by the pandemic.
The clinics are only open to Worcester residents who meet certain criteria including: people of color; people who do not speak English as a first language; homeless residents; people who do not have access to transportation to get to other vaccine sites; residents who do not feel comfortable receiving a vaccine at a medical facility; individuals with disabilities; and people who have a mental illness or struggle with substance use disorder.
Past equity clinics have used the single-shot Johnson & Johnson version of the vaccine, which was briefly taken out of circulation after a handful of recipients developed blood clots. Massachusetts resumed using the Johnson & Johnson on Friday after federal health officials lifted the temporary pause.
