4 Worcester I-290 Ramps Closing For Construction This Week

WORCESTER, MA — MassDOT will close a series off I-290 exit ramps in Worcester this week as part of an ongoing resurfacing of the freeway.

All four closures will take place overnight Thursday, lasting from 10 p.m. until Friday at about 5 a.m., according to MassDOT. Crews will be out paving in the area during those times.

The ramps that will close include: westbound exit 21 at Plantation Street; westbound exit 20 at Lincoln Street; westbound exit 19 and the connector ramp to I-190 (a detour will take drivers to I-290 via exit 18 at I-290); and westbound exit 20 to Lincoln Street and Burncoat Street.
