7 Places to Get Easter Brunch In Worcester This Year

WORCESTER, MA—Some years, pulling the tablecloth out of the closet, baking a ham and whipping up deviled eggs just seems like more work than it's worth. Or maybe you've got relatives coming in from out of town and you lost the leaves to the dining room table.

Several restaurants have you covered, offering Easter brunches on Sunday, April 1.

  • Peppercorn's Grille and Tavern: Serving from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $29 per person, $19 for kids. The menu, which has more than 30 items on it, includes breakfast burritos, corned beef hash, fruit, scrambled eggs, French toast, rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, pot roast, chicken, ham, soups, salads and more.   • Beechwood Inn: Taking reservations Easter brunch, which is served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The dinner costs $44.95 per person, $19.95 for kids. Check out the Easter brunch menu here.
  • Flying Rhino Cafe and Watering Hole: The Easter brunch takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Rhino also offers its full menu from 3-9 p.m. The Easter brunch at the Flying Rhino has menu items ranging truffle tater tots to crispy chicken to a corned beef and ham carving station.   • Maxwell-Silverman's Toolhouse: Serving Easter brunch at Union Station in Worcester. Features breakfast items including omelettes. Also fruits, salads, and entrees ranging from shepherd's pie to chicken cacciatore. Also desserts and a carving station.   • Armsby Abbey: Open for business as usual on Easter Sunday, April 1, serving an early-Spring inspired brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with dinner to follow from 4-10 p.m. (bar until midnight). If you are looking for a family reservation, call 508-795-1012. Brunch reservations are being taken for both Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1, for groups of two or more.
  • The Compass Tavern: The tavern bringing back all your favorites for a delicious Easter Brunch. The spread includes a ham and prime rib carving station, Chicken Florentine, whipped cream and strawberry waffles, eggs, bacon, corned beef hash and much more. Cost is $22 per person, half price for kids. 3 seatings, at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. Call for reservations.
  • Livia's Dish: The menu includes a breakfast steak tower, eggs, frittata, waffles, burgers, panini, pancakes, fruit, omelette station, salad and more. This is one of the most eclectic, unique brunches we've seen! Take a look. Make reservations by calling 508-926-8861.
