WORCESTER, MA — Starting in April, some visitors to the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor are going to get a new view of the miles of paved trails between Worcester and Providence.

In November, the national heritage corridor acquired an adaptive bicycle that allows the disabled or people with mobility issues to enjoy a bike ride. The adaptive bike will hit the paved trail between Worcester and Millbury in April with four events for veterans.

The events will happen Tuesdays on April 13, April 27, May 11 and June 1. The corridor will also offer the adaptive bike for use on April 24 along the paved trail in Blackstone. That event will recognize the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy’s "Celebrate Trails Day."
